La Biennal Internacional de Cerámica de Marratxí (BICMA) is an artistic ceramics competition open to ceramists from around the world. Its aim is to promote creativity and innovation and to support artists who work and create in the field of ceramics. At the same time, it aims to raise the international profile of Marratxí as a municipality with a long and continuous tradition of ceramics. Marratxí is committed to quality, innovation and art in ceramics as a product of cultural identity from yesterday, today and tomorrow. The biennial competition is an opportunity to raise awareness, both of Marratxí as a municipality and of the artists themselves, regardless of their nationality.
Autumn in the atelier

Vladica's atelier is the venue where creative people of various profiles, nationalities and cultures have an opportunity to express themselves through clay. Participants in a small group exchange ideas and share experience in a friendly atmosphere. These gatherings happen on Tuesday evenings during 10-15 week periods in spring and autumn semesters.
